Tips for making a delicious strawberry jam

Although, as we have stressed the importance of the strawberry being in excellent condition, it is because normally this product is not consumed in its entirety, but tends to be stored, therefore a strawberry in poor condition would damage the mixture .

If you want your jam to have a firmer consistency, you can choose to add artificial pectin and there will be no problem since this will be according to your taste.

And if you don't want to add artificial pectin you could also add another fruit with a high level of natural pectin, and you will get a firm consistency

The amount of sugar can also be optional, because some strawberries tend to be quite sweet, or also because you want to take care of yourself in that aspect and want to add less. As our recommendation, we advise you not to add too much sugar, since it would overshadow the rich strawberry flavor and it will not be tolerable to your palate.

Since the strawberry contains a good supply of water, to help it release its juice, you can put it to marinate with the sugar and the other ingredients that you are going to use.

When the jam is cooked, do not cover the pot, since when the water evaporates it will give it a rich perfumed aroma.

It is important that you always add the lemon juice since this makes the pectin activate in the jam.

We hope these tips are of your benefit.
