Ingredients

  • 300 gr of wheat flour
  • 100 grams of Maca powder
  • 1 and ½ cup of water
  • 1 and ½ cups of sugar
  • ½ tbsp. bicarbonate
  • 1 tbsp. vanilla essence
  • 1 tbsp. of butter
  • 2 tbsp. of baking powder
  • 4 tbsp. cocoa
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 3 units of eggs

Preparation

  • 1st Step:

In a bowl, lightly beat the eggs, sugar and water. By getting a thin cream, reserve.

  • 2nd Step:

In a second bowl add the wheat flour, the Maca, the baking powder, the baking soda, the cocoa and the salt, that is to say all dry ingredients. Stir everything very well so that each ingredient is compacted with the other.  

  • 3st Step:

Now, we return to the first bowl, where we must add butter and vanilla essence, always mixing so that everything is well beaten and without lumps.  

  • 4th Step:

Add the dry ingredients to where the wet ones are and beat little by little until a smooth and homogeneous mass is left.

  • 5th step:

In a mold place a layer of butter and another of flour. Set aside while you preheat the oven to 180 degrees for 20 minutes.

  • 6th Step:  

Pour the mixture into the floured pan. Let bake for 60 minutes and to verify if it is ready, prick the dough with a knife or a stick, checking that it comes out dry.
