Ingredients

  • 1 and ½ cup of wheat flour
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • ½ tbsp. of baking powder
  • ½ tbsp. cinnamon powder
  • 1 can of condensed milk
  • 1 can of evaporated milk
  • 2 cans of heavy cream
  • 6 eggs
  • Vanilla essences to taste

Preparation

  • 1 Step: Grease and flour the mold before preparing the biscuit. Once ready, reserve.
  • 2 Step: Heat oven to 250 degrees.  
  • 3 Step: In a bowl, sift the flour along with the baking powder and ground cinnamon
  • 4 Step: Apart, in another container should beat the egg whites to the point of sigh or snow with half of the sugar. Help yourself with the blender and when you get the indicated consistency, turn off the motor and store the mixture in the fridge.  
  • 5 Step: In the next bowl, place the egg yolks (yellow) and the whites already beaten to the point of sighing and stir them thoroughly with a spatula. Add the dry ingredients and continue to integrate everything slowly.
  • 6 Step: Now, pour the mixture into the previously floured source and take it to bake for 30 minutes.
  • 7 Step: To prepare the tres leches cream, bring a saucepan to a simmer and incorporate the three types of milk plus the cinnamon sticks and the vanilla. Bring to a boil and remove from heat. Now, strain to get rid of the lumps and so the preparation is clean.
  • 8 Step: When the cake is ready remove from heat and let stand until room temperature.
  • 9 Step: Without removing the cake from the mold, make small holes with the help of a knife or a toothpick and pour the hot milk cream over the entire surface. Let cool and refrigerate for a full day so that the pasta takes on flavor and consistency.
  • 10 Step: To decorate, beat a can of very cold cream together with 60 grams of powdered sugar and vanilla. Mix well until it reaches the point of snow. Refrigerate for 10 minutes.
  • 11 Step: Remove the cake from the fridge and place the cream on it. Cover each space well and garnish with shredded strawberries, peaches, blackberries, grapes, or raspberries.  

Tips and recommendations

  •  The biscuit can be placed in a wave tray or that it has a certain height so that when the milk is placed it does not spill and it absorbs all the candy it needs.
  • You can decorate the cake with pieces of raspberry, strawberries or with fruits in amoeba, according to your taste.
  • In the event that you do not want to decorate with the meringue, you can cover with Chantilly cream or whipped cream.
