Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons of salt
  • 1/2 cup unprepared flour
  • 1/2 cup of chuño
  • 1 tablespoon of pepper
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 2 drops of soybean
  • 500 ml oil
  • 1 lemon

Preparation of Squid Chicharrón

  1. We start by dressing the squid with salt, pepper, ground garlic, drops of soy sauce and a little lemon.
  2. Then we soak it in beaten egg seasoned with salt
  3. Now we dip it in a mixture of unprepared flour and chuño, both in equal parts. They mix them well and then separate them 1 by 1, making sure that they are all impregnated with the flour.
  4. Heat plenty of oil, half of the pan, and then add the squid in small quantities so that they all fry evenly. So until they are golden and crispy. Remove, drain and serve with homemade tartar sauce or lemon.
