Peru is a country that stands out for its culinary wealth, it has a great variety of exquisite dishes that it would be great to try them all, but since it is a very extensive range, today we will dedicate ourselves to trying one of the most famous, called Suck limeño.

In some countries of South America, especially in Peru, there has been a great tradition of these so-called stews suck, one of the best known is Lima, which is prepared based on white fish and shrimp. Ingredients

  • ½ Kilo of bonito
  • 2 tomates
  • 1 cebolla great
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 dry chili
  • ¼ kilo of shrimp
  • 2 liters of water
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons of oil
  • 2 tablespoons of rice
  • 3 yellow potatoes
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tender corn sliced
  • ½ cup peas
  • Oregano and salt to taste.

Preparation of Limeño Chupe

Heat the oil and fry the chopped onion and garlic grinder with the salt and oregano.

When it is fried add the peeled and cut potatoes to the water, the rice and shrimp. If after the potatoes are cooked the chupe is too thick, add the dry toasted chili pepper. Let stand for a few minutes before serving.

Fry the bonito in pieces or other fish that have little bone, place pieces of fried fish in deep plates and cover them with the chupe.
