Preparation of Causa stuffed with chicken

  1. We will start this delicious stuffed cause recipe, washing the yellow and white potatoes well together, and then taking them to a deep-bottomed saucepan to boil them until they are completely cooked. Add a touch of salt.
  2. After boiling the potatoes well, we will let it rest for a few minutes to go on to peel them very carefully so as not to burn our hands. Immediately in a container with a wide base, we will press the potatoes with the potato press or also by hand. Reserve for a few minutes while we prepare the yellow pepper.
  3. Cut the 3 yellow peppers from the ends and remove all the inside (veins of the pepper), with the help of a knife, liquefy the yellow pepper and reserve.
  4. Mix the potatoes well until they have a firm and consistent dough without lumps. Add the lemon juice, the salt and the blended yellow pepper. Mix again.
  5. Parboil the chicken breast until it is completely cooked.
  6. In a separate bowl, prepare the cause filling by shredding the chicken breast into small pieces.
  7. Add the mayonnaise to taste and mix.
  8. Going back to the potato dough that we had reserved, we will divide this dough into small portions for each dish. We will take a portion and knead it in the way we want and then introduce the delicious chicken filling inside. Finally with we will cover the filling with the remaining potato dough and that's it. Tip to make a delicious Causa stuffed with chicken

To obtain well-cooked potatoes, add a tablespoon of salt to the boiling pot. Add to this a lemon wedge so that the potatoes take on the characteristic flavor of the Lima cause.
