Ingredients

  • 500 grams Medium shrimp tails
  • Large lemon juice
  • 2 cubes of chicken substances
  • 2 cups (360grs) of rice
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 60 grams Cenda white flour
  • Frying oil
  • 50 grams Butter or margarine
  • 100 grs. Grated Parmesan cheese.
  • 100 grs. Very finely chopped parsley for dusting
  • Salt, pepper, cumin, chili powder, the taste.

Preparation of Rice with Shrimp

Well my friends, let's start preparing this rich and popular recipe, to make it easier for you to clearly understand the preparation of this dish, we are going to explain it to you through small simple steps, which will help you in the preparation process.

The first thing you will do is the following:

  1. You must wash the 500 grams of shrimp tails very well, then in a pot you will add water, you will calculate it according to the amount of shrimp, and add salt to your liking. You put the shrimp in the water and let it boil for 5 minutes.
  2. Once the time has elapsed, you must remove the shrimp, drain them and peel them (remove the shell and veins). You will need a lot of lemon juice, where you will let the shrimp rest with a little fine salt, normally it is left for 15 minutes.
  3. Apart in a pot you will place ½ liter of water to boil, in that water you will add the two cubes of chicken substance until they dissolve correctly. In this water you are going to add 360 grams of rice and you will let it cook slowly over medium heat, until, you see the rice has absorbed all the broth and is cooked (without letting it be too much), do not add salt since the cubes contain enough.
  4. Then we remove the shrimp from the lemon juice, and prepare a pan to which abundant oil will be added to fry. We are going to pass the shrimp through 1 beaten egg, and then also pass it through the white flour, this done we are placing the shrimp in the pan with the oil, until they are golden.
  5. Now you take advantage of the fact that the rice is hot, to start dressing it, you are adding 50 grams of margarine or butter, then you are going to add the 100 grams of grated Parmesan cheese.

And ready to plate or serve, on a plate you place the desired portion of rice and on top you add the shrimp tails. Finally you spread 100 grams of chopped parsley and that's it.
